2025 Rosé   $30.00

Our 2024 single vineyard rosé is a savoury, dry style rosé made from Tempranillo grown in the Yallingup subregion.  This rosé is a blend of tank fermented Tempranillo which provides the aromatics and balance whilst a barrel fermented portion delivers the structure and texture. It’s refined, but laid back at the same time to suit any occasion.

Aromatic. Savoury. Dry.

In a glass the Rosé is a shade of peachy pink. The nose is fresh and bright, with floral and spice scents with a slight citrus hint hidden amongst the aromatics. The natural fruit sweetness of this wine is balanced by some texture and structure and a dash of savoury spice. This is a well-balanced Rosé with some structure and great mouthfeel from the winemaking clarity, with some added palate length and a clean acidity to finish.

The intent as always for our Rosé is to capture the vibe of summer livin’ down south – that uniquely summer feeling of being free and having fun. Unfortunately, the Sangiovese fruit we normally use for our Rose struggled a little in the spiking heat and dry grown conditions of 2024 that we had to pivot and change varietal at the eleventh hour. Fortunately, we work with a grower in the Yallingup area that was able to provide us with some lovely Tempranillo grapes for this vintage to allow us to continue to make a rosé style that has a savoury focus and similarly, as with our previous vintages, we have tried to make an uncomplicated dry style Rosé, with some subtle complexities.

Backing up off the success of our previous vintages, we wanted our nineth vintage of Rosé to be even more elevated with the serious level amped up a little. The Tempranillo fruit we sourced in 2024 proved to be a great choice with the balance of the fruit and savouriness we were chasing and a varietal that could provide our base and we knew could handle a barrel fermented portion. The intricacies of the different ferments and some later blending comes together to create a summer drink that is complexly put together yet deliciously uncomplex to drink.
